Luca Fialdini
Luca Fialdini was born in 1993 in Massa. Piano and composition student with Maestros Fabio Della Pina and Daniela Pardini, he studied at the Conservatori “G. Puccini” of La Spezia and “G. Frescobaldi” of Ferrara; currently he is registered at the First Level Academic Degree at the Higher Institute of Musical Studies “L. Boccherini” of Lucca under the guidance of M° Pietro Rigacci.
In 2007 he received the presidential mention for the piece Constitutional Symphony, presented in the national competition The constitution seen by young people; from 2013 he is title titular of the organ “G. Agati” in St. Martin’s Church in his hometown; in 2015 he received two merit diplomas “D. Sacchetti” for piano and composition. He has performed as a soloist and in various formations, inter alia, at Guglielmi Theater (Massa), St. Peter’s Basilica of San Pietro a Grado (Pisa), St. Frances’ Lower Basilica (Assisi), Verdi Theater (Pisa) and the prestigious Wiener Musikverein.
Beyond the activity as an interpreter and composer, he has been that of popularizer and music critic: he has collaborated from 2014 to 2017 with the Italian magazine Uni Info News and since 2016 he has written for the newspaper Tuttomondo, among the conferences and the concert-lessons realized include Poetic-grammatical Foundations of the music of Béla Bartók (2010) and Rigoletto by Giuseppe Verdi (2013) at the Municipal School of Music of Massa, Richard Wagner (2013, later resumed in 2014) and Regime music in Šostakovič (2014) at the Classic High School “P. Rossi “in Massa, he also edited the Pages of War (2015) conference held at the secondary school “G. Pisano” in Calci (PI). Since 2018 he cures the cycle of concert-lectures The Wednesdays of the Verdi, focused on the opera season of Verdi Theater in Pisa. He is the founder of the classic music festival Sentieri muscali, settled in Forte dei Marmi.
Among the last compositions already performed: Soffiano venti antichi op. 12 for flute and saxophone (Carrara, 2017), commission of the Faedda-Giannetti duo, Adagio op. 18 for piano solo (Carrara, 2017), Speculum maius op. 25 for organ solo and Missa Sancti Martini op. 20 for organ and chorus (Forte dei Marmi, 2018), commissioned by St. Martin’s Church for the 180° anniversary of the foundation, Crucifixus a 8 voci for a cappella chorus (Arezzo, 2018), commissioned by the Tuscanian Youth Choir and the Sonatina op. 29 for piano solo (Forte dei Marmi, 2019),commissioned by Maria Giulia Lari. In 2019 the Da Vinci Publishing, in Osaka, publishes his composition Adagio op. 18. He is graduate in Jurisprudence at Pisa University.
Mr. Fialdini publishes his compositions with Saker Music since 2019.
