About the arranger
Csaba Wágner was born in 1980 in Szentendre, Hungary. He studied trombone at the Franz Liszt University under Prof. Ferenc Steiner and Prof. András Fejér, and later participated in international masterclasses with Charles Vernon, Ben van Dijk, and Stefan Schulz.
His professional career started at the Budapest State Opera in 2002. Later he became a member of the Staatskapelle Berlin, then the Leipzig Gewandhausorchester, and performed with the Budapest Festival Orchestra between 2017 and 2020. Since 2020, he has held the position of bass trombonist at the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra.
Wágner Csaba is also an active soloist and mentor, giving concerts and masterclasses across Europe, the USA, and South America.
